About Me

Ever since I can remember, my life has been surrounded by creativity and bringing ideas to life. My father was the greatest influence of that inspiration. He was always painting characters in our childhood bedrooms, building us a half pipe in the garage for us, and even painted the hood of my Pontiac GTO for something fun to do. His creativity has no limits, even to this day. I knew I always wanted to do something creative with my life but that seed did not sprout until 2016 when I was a Drill Instructor at MCRD Parris Island. I saw a window for customized hat presses for us drill instructors. Something more than just the basic MDF pieces we could buy on base. So I made my own and then for others. One day, stove-top covers opened the doorway that I didn't know I was looking for. That was when King Designs, LLC was founded. Right here in the Lowcountry of Beaufort, SC.
